Dunlop Denovo Steel Wheels
In 1974 the option of Dunlop Denovo run-flat tyres was offered on the 1275 GT; they were made standard fitment on the 1275 GT and optional on the Clubman from 1977-80. They were not exactly a resounding success and most owners converted their cars back to conventional tyres and steel 12" wheels very quickly. The Denovo wheel was specially designed to match the tyre (and in fact was not 12" diameter, but 310mm) and unsurprisingly neither wheel nor tyre are serviceable today.
