Our Approach
Somerford Mini are one of the largest Mini Specialists in the UK. Our aim is to be a ‘one stop shop’ for any Classic Mini owner. We are able to achieve this by having both full Workshop facilties and massive Parts Department, coupled with a collectively experienced and knowledgeable team of staff.
Although we are a reasonably large company, we still place a strong emphasis on personal service. We feel this is of paramount importance and it means that a good relationship can build between us and our customers. We are here to help, so please do not hesitate to pick up the phone or visit us. Indeed some matters are far too complex to be dealt with in any other way and although we provide modern methods of communication and ordering parts, sometimes it is best to speak to a human being! We will be only too pleased to help you!

The aim is to clear our orders the same day in our busy mail order department and if this isn’t possible we should always inform you. Where a particular part is not in stock, we offer a back ordering system and we try to be as accommodating as possible.
Our stock of parts is continuously increasing and we are very active in reproducing parts where the originals are no longer available. We only stock quality parts and will always advise a customer to use genuine parts wherever possible. Although many of our parts are of genuine Rover manufacture, we do try to cater for all budgets.
We encourage customers to be involved with restoration and refurbishment projects, either by visiting our workshop or by keeping in regular contact. This ensures that the project exactly meets customer's requirements and it gives the customer a heightened sense of achievement.
Free estimates are provided for any work customers request when they bring their car to us. Alternatively we can arrange site visits if requested, although there is a charge for this service.
No body work is undertaken without first providing a written estimate. If a customer accepts this we then consult our schedule and offer a slot for the work to be carried out. This is allocated to one customer only and will not be changed. We never stop work to accommodate another customer and then continue at a later date.
Our method is one man per job from start to finish! This is the most efficient way of working and ensures the maximum concentration and effort is focused on your car.
Although we are well established and have had many working systems in place for many years, we are constantly looking at ways to improve.
