There's sometimes confusion when customers place orders as to what the component parts of the brake shoe adjuster should be called. Please note that the two parts that push against the brake shoes should be referred to as tappets, not wedges. The wedge is the screwed part that forces the tappets apart.

8.4" Diameter Ventilated Discs
Austin/MG Metro Type
For many years this has been a popular and easy-to-fit upgrade for Minis with 12" wheels, requiring the drive flanges and brake hoses only to be changed in
order to fit the vented discs and four-pot callipers (see Drive Shafts and Drive Flanges section for the special drive flanges, plus the Brake Systems sections
for the hoses). A very small amount of modification may also be necessary to the disc dust cover brackets. Metro vented discs and four-pot callipers will
also fit other models as well, so long as 10" wheels are not intended to be retained. New outer C.V. joints and swivel hubs will also be required if converting
from front drum brakes.
