Most parts listed here are for Austin and Morris MkI and MkII models; those used on the extended boot lid of Riley and Wolseley models are unsurprisingly quite different. New boot lid locks and boot lid fittings for Riley and Wolseley models are very rarely come by these days, with the exception of the boot lid seal which is available. The very earliest Riley and Wolseley models had a seal fixed with clips to the boot lid in the same manner as its Austin and Morris counterpart. This necessitated a boot lid with 28 clip holes in it - when fitting a replacement boot lid seal to one of these very early cars, RFN204 rubber plugs may be used to seal the redundant clip holes.

Between 1969 and the Mini run-out in 2000, exterior handles in chrome, black or grey finish were available at different times on different models. Many variations occured because of the many limited editions which peppered later Mini production. For this reason, it would be extremely confusing to quote dates when particular finish handles were fitted. Note that 1969-70 models continued to use the MkI and MkII style handle.
